Welcome to The Wishing Well RV Park, Catalina, AZ., "said to be the friendliest RV Park in Arizona"

About Us

We can accommodate RV's and trailers up to 45'.  We have large shade trees in the front center of the park which is nice during the summer months.  However, just know that the park assumes no liability if a branch were to fall out of one of the trees and does damage to individuals or property.  Basically, park there at your own risk!  By the way, we are pet friendly!  Dogs need to be on leashes at all times when outside the RV.  Dogs are to be walked in designated area around the outer perimeter of the park and please clean up after them so others won't step in the mess.  Thank you.

We have a community center located  in the middle of the park for our guests to enjoy satellite television.  We have card tables for card and board games.   We have a free video library and a free book exchange.  We have laundry facilities in the community center with two washers and a dryer and drying lines out front.  We have two bathrooms in the community center and one of them has a large shower.  The other is a half bath.  We use the community center for our potlucks during the busy season should the weather not cooperate.  Our first potluck is Thanksgiving which went very well.  The turkey was good an juicy again like always and there was actually another turkey donated by one of our guests.  There was a ton of food and lots of yummy desserts!  Everyone seemed to have a good time and there was even left overs for later.  We always have so much to be thankful for.  Let's all remember from Whom all good gifts and blessings come from.  We did a little Christmas eve gathering for those who had nowhere to go Christmas day and we watched a Christmas movie, 'Home Alone 3' which some of the guests had never seen before.  We are planning a little New Year's Eve party and we'll see who actually stays awake till midnight!  In the past, most of us watched the ball drop in New York and yelled Happy New Year and said goodnight and went to bed!  Some of us are getting too old to stay up till midnight our time.  LOL.

By the way, the park is sporting brand new paved driveways.  That should make it easier for our guests and residents to come and go.  So come on and join us for an exciting season ahead!

Making a Reservation

Making a reservation is as easy as sending an email or calling us and letting us know when you plan on arriving.  We do not over book.  We have a calendar we use for reservations and if someone is on the calendar, they will have a space here when they arrive.  When you call, if you don't reach one of us, please leave a message and we promise we will get back with you.

If you're in the area and need a space and we're out running errands, please just come on in.  Go ahead and get parked.  Go to the office building located near the center of the park and go inside.  To the right of the door you will find a table with registration forms and envelopes.  Fill our a form with your space number and slide it under the inner office door.  When we get back, we will come find you to complete your registration.  The owners prefer: pay, then stay.  All we ask is if anything in your plans change, that you contact us and let us know so we are not turning people away in order to hold a spot.

We don't usually ask for a deposit unless there is a large group (which are welcome by the way) and then we only charge a one night fee per expected unit.  We had fun a few years ago when we hosted a group called, 'GMC Saguaro Jetset, Motorhome Club'!  Around 11 or 12 of the retro GMC Motorhomes circa 1970's spent a week with us for their 'Spring Jamboree'!  Think back to the Bill Murray movie, 'Stripes'  Yes, that's the one.  These units were all so fancy and just gorgeous and the folks were a delight.  They are always welcome back any time!

Our Rates

Most spaces are 30 amp. We have limited 50 amp spaces and they are on a first come first served basis ONLY!  We DON'T reserve them!  If one is available close to your arrival, and you have requested one, we will do our best to hold it for you!  While at present we don't charge a reservation fee, so if for some reason you are unable to be here, please call us and let us know so we are not holding a space open and turning someone else away.  If for any reason, you don't speak with one of us, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.  Thank you for your consideration.

09:33 Really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Hookups worked well, good rate, good location for our sightseeing and easy in and out but the best is the management team of Wendy and Denise. Hospitality at its finest! Great birding in the area too! Will definitely stop back if our travels bring us this way.

Managers Blog

Hi there.  Sorry it's been so long since I updated our site.  We are really excited about the upcoming season.  We want to thank all of you who spent time with us last season and hope you will come back any time you're in the area.  Denise and I look forward to the cooler weather of the Fall and Winter.  It's been a long, very hot and very humid Summer!  We're finally getting some cooler weather now that it's November.  By the way, check out the Google Maps link in our how to find us page!
